Sbonelo had the opportunity to visit Andile’s Salt river based studio whilst he was in Cape Town.

Sbonelo’s exhibition at the Irma Stern Museum in Cape Town was accompanied by a panel discussion between him and Andile Dyolvane, a great ceramic artist also working with  African aesthetics. They discussed traditional symbols patterns and their meanings in ceramic art in a rich discussion moderated by Abdulcadir Ahmed Said, photographer and filmmaker.
